You first have to go to Asus to download the tool as well as the update if you don't have the EZBios. http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us
You mistyped your mobo model number A8N SLI Premium. The first page is the latest with the last tab to the right being the user's manual. The one next to that is for Cool+Quiet and PC Probe V2 which monitors temps and voltages. The latest beta is the 1011.006 and 1009 regular. The user's manual should have instruction on how to update the bios. For use of the two different update tools look over the docs at: http://support.asus.com/technicaldocuments/technicaldocuments.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

I use nothing but ASUS mobs. If you still have the guide that came with the board you could find a whole section on updating the BIOS using EZBios. If not you can get the information off of ASUS website along with the updated bios and tool for updating the BIOS.

Thanks for all your help it is much appreciated and it was not as hard as I had been told it would be. I'm glad to be a member of this forum because so many people offer to help those of us who are not too computer smart. Thanks again.
