I want to update my pc by buying some more RAM. I know my Ram is DDR but how exactly can I can find this out on my computer.....but the question I really want to ask is what Pin do I need? I have seen many different RAM pins, 184pin for example.

your computer is most likely 184pin, get it off of www.newegg.com so if it isnt the right pin you can send it back, crucial DDR is the best, what proc. do u have? then i can tell you wat speed to get, and rememeber, you can always reach me at the url in my sig.

Grab a program called CPUz (www.cpuid.com) and it will give you the basic rundown of what you've got

DDR is 184 pin but there are also considerations about the density and 'siddedness (i.e.,single-sided modules vs double-sided modules -- to see what you've got, look at your memory to see how many sides there re chips on)
