Upgrade compatibility question

Hey all, I've recently decided to upgrade the GFX card in the computer I received from my mom about 2 years ago, but I'm not for sure if what I'm looking at is compatible with my mobo or how to tell if its compatible. I'm about to buy

I would just like to know if the card and powersupply would work in this type of computer and why. Thanks for any help in advance I really appreciate it.

If the current power supply is a standard atx power supply, then the corsair should work.

I'd check to make sure the case will fit the physical dimensions of both. The card is 9-3/8" long. Make sure you have the clearance needed at the rear of the card, (Usually there's a HDD cage that might make it a tight fit). Also measure your existing power supply and make sure the new one will fit the space.
