Hi all,
First time I've opened a thread here
Anyway, here is the question:
My system is getting a bit old, and I've noticed that some games are getting a bit slower. Like Race WTCC 2007, at the start it becomes a bit laggy, but ones we have started properly, it goes well
That's not the only game where it laggs. I see, I notice, I feel that the lagg is coming closer and closer. During this year, new games will be released such as NFS Pro street, etc... and I don't think my system can handle it, not at max that's for sure. But the question is, which part can't handle it? This is my system:
AMD Athlon 64 3800+ (single core) @ 2.5GHZ
2GB RAM - Latency overclocked
400GB SATAII 16MB
6800GT - A bit overclocked
Those are about the most important things you guys have to know. I have money just for one part. Sux right? That's why I had to make a thread...Because I am middle of a dilemma. I need you guys help.
AMD Athlon X2 5000+ (or more, not definitive yet) or a Sapphire ATI X1950 PRO 256MB? Or something in the same price range. Am really not looking for DX10 cards, not really interested... And please don't show me 'newegg' (or what ever) links, because I live in Belgium.
Would It be useful, if I bought a Dual core? But what's the purpose of a dual-core, you just can ran more tasks at ones. Or better yet, it's just easier for the CPU to run more tasks at the same time. That's it. I think my CPU is well enough to take a game like NFS Pro street. Don't you think?
Anyway, I would like to have some good advice from you guys, which I expect from you
Thanks for reading this, I hope you guys can help me out of this.
