Upgrade current PC or buy a new one?

ASUS boards aren't cheap, wtf.
What would happen if OP purchased the stuff I linked? (And I don't care if he buys the 300R or the 230T, both a good cases)
When he's done wiring it all up, is just going to melt? No. It's going to work and play exactly the same as with your $130 motherboard, except he'll see $75 less FPS because he spent it on things he didn't need.
And to go back. Are you seriously saying that an ASRock board is higher quality than ASUS? ASRock crams their boards full of features, I'll give them that, but reliability is not their strong suit. For those that buy ASRock and don't have any issues they are amazing, but a lot of people aren't that lucky.

I didn't sat ASUS boards are low quality and didn't say that ASRock was high quality. And the reason why I reccomended a ATX board is because OP can AFFORD it. If he couldn't, I would say mATX. But he can afford ATX AND a 780, so why not?

Just because you can afford something doesn't mean it's right for you. That's why.
The ASUS motherboard, the Seasonic PSU, the ASUS GTX 780 and perhaps a Fractal Design Define Mini would be within budget and pretty awesome.
