Upgrade HDD

Hey everyone. I posted about my Acer 3690 before and now I have a different question. I am getting ready to install Windows7 on it and I'm getting some RAM today, but now I need a hard drive.

Currently, I have a 60 GB and I'm thinking something bigger maybe? Are all the hard drives for laptops the same or different?
 
Most are the same except for the connection, IDE or SATA. Some laptop hard drives are not the same dimensions however. But i've never had a problem.
 
95 percent of the time, you shouldn't have a problem with the size. What specific model of drive do you have now?
