Upgrade help.

I was wanting some help on picking some new upgrades for my current computer build.
My build is really old, so I'm going to be upgrading most everything.
I'm also doing sort of a budget build, but I want to be able to play games at a comfortable frame rate.
I'm kind of looking for a $600 - $650 price range for all parts?

Case: Apevia X-Plorer 2 Mid-Tower Case

CPU: AMD Phenom™II X6 1055T / Cooling: XtremeGear Liquid Cooling System 120MM

RAM: 240-Pin CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB, SDRAM DDR3, 1600 -Recent upgrade

MOTHERBOARD: GigaByte GA-870A-UD3

POWER SUPPLY: 700 Watts - XtremeGear

GPU: MSI R9 270X 4G - Recent upgrade

Upgrades I was looking at:

MOTHERBOARD: ASUS Z97-A LGA 1150

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz LGA 1150 / Cooling: CORSAIR Hydro Series H50 120mm

GPU: MSI R9 290X 8G

I'm still trying to decide on a case that'll give me better cooling, and fit all the upgrades. Thanks in advance!

Good suggestion. I didn't want anything that's too flashy, so I think that case would be perfect.

To be honest I think my PSU might be fine for now! It's lasted me a long time.
If I was to maybe Crossfire, or SLI cards I might look into upgrading though!

I think my biggest concerns now are just the Motherboard, and CPU.
I think I might be looking into upgrading my GPU again though.
I feel like my R9 270X is good, but not enough to handle newer games comfortably.
