Upgrade old for internet browsing

So I posted something similar in Dec., but looking for advice. So I still have this system;

Antec 900
Asus P5Q deluxe Mobo
E8500 CPU
Artic 7 freezer cooler
Asus 4870 GPU
OCZ 700 PSU
4 GB 1066 DDR2
WD 640 HD
Vista 64 O.S.

I upgarded to a 64mb ssd and win. 7. Everything works fine except now that I have my new system;

My old system is obnoxiously loud compared to the new and it's driving me crazy.... I never noticed it before, but now urghhhh..... So I have an office with both computers near each other in the room and when my wife is on the old one it drowns out everything. So what do you suggest for for a new case and I'm thinking of going ahead and getting a new mobo, processor and ram. Might as well upgrade it all. I don't think I need a gpu as it will not be playing any games, just internet browsing and d/l pics. from the camera and maybe using word. I buy from N.E. and M.C. mostly, but will buy from any reputable dealer.

If you just use the PC for internet. I don't think you need to upgrade it.

It is true that you won't need 4870 for internet browser. You could probably grab a second hand lower end video card and sell your 4870, but I doubt if it worth the trouble for saving that little of electricity.

If you think your old machine is noisy, you would probably better check which part of it causing that. Is it from case fan or PSU or GPU or CPU heatsink.
Antec 900 is a good case, if you think the case too noisy, just take out the existing fan and install 2 silent fans.

Maybe I should open it up and see which fans are noisy and replace them with a fan/fans that are quieter. I'll open it up tonight when I get back. I'm assuming they are the front fans, but there is also a side fan and that big fan on top. I don't think it's the psu and I know it's not the gpu because I can control that from the catalyst control center. I can't hear the fan loud until I'm at aleast 50% then I can start to hear it over the other fans.

So I've been messing with this case and it seems that the 2 front, 1 rear and top mounted fans are all loud. I think this case has good air movement, but it's loud in general. I think I'm going to do a complete rebuild from scratch. I know 2 ppl that don't have much money and looking for a comp. I have all the original boxes and it's complete. I have the original o.s., word and a few other programs with the cd's all legit copies that I purchased. So what do you think would be a really good price for someone? Take in mind they don't have much money. I'll do a complete fresh install on everything for them. Would $300.00 be a good deal for them? I'll even throw in a mouse and keyboard and if I have an extra lcd I'll give them that also. Although I think I gave my last used 19" lcd to a junk collector that didn't have much money either.
