Upgrade or Buy A New Computer?

Hello everyone, I'm new of this forum.
First of all sorry if I do the usual questions on the advice of your PC but I'm very undecided (or if I wrong the section...!).

For my birthday in June I want to give-me a new PC... because I can't play the new videogames (like Battlefield Bad Company 2, Episodes From Liberty City, etc...). But I think the mine now isn't too bad, indeed it doesn't go slow, I don't have so many problems, but one of my main activities is play Online.

Now, my PC has:
2GB of RAM - 32 bits - 2.33 GHz - Windows 7 - Video Card NVIDIA 9500GT.

Should I buy a new one? Or maybe just buy parts and assemble it? I'd like to have like a 4 or 6 GB Ram - 64 Bit - And one of the latest generation video card. For you is a good idea? How much would it cost?

Any advice is welcome...Thanks in advance! (: (:
 
right... you said a processor speed, not what one... so what processor is it??
graphics card is good, might want a bit more RAM... is it DDR2 or 3 or what? :)

My processor is of HP, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E6650

Where i find these features?

Guys you think it's better to change the PC or add something? :o
