Upgrade the memory

Hi all,

Ive got the zbox id42 and atm i have a 1x2 GB module in there but im wondering if i buy a 1x8 GB module for it will it work if i put it with the other ram module , so i will have 10 GB in total

Or do i need to get 2x8 GB and chuck the 2 GB stick away?

If this is what you have, it says you can have up to 16GB so 2x8GB would work.

Yes i know i can have 2x8 GB Sticks but can i mix it up by putting in 1x2 and 1x8 as my previous post said

Yes you can, on my other Desktop I have a 1GB stick and two 256mb sticks (running XP...)
