Upgrade time is near - any suggestions people?

Hey all, upgrade time is comming for me. i just been on dabs.com and built up the bits i want. The comp needs to last me for almost 2 years.

Just wondering if i could get your thoughts on it? any suggestions helpfull :D

Everything looks good, but to clarify something, the ocz power supply you choose certainly can give 18amps on each rail but it cannot output the rated 72 amps, just around 48 amps max

Combined its 44 amps, the gameXStream 700w does 50 amps

If you get a EVGA Ultra, if a new and better graphics card comes out you can take advantage of their "step up" program.

Step-up program only for US ppl. And EVGA is expensive in UK

As long as the power supply meets the needs i dun mind what it dishes out :D thnx for letting me know though :)

That step-up programe sounded to good to be true :P shame only in us of a

I need to be able to pay via finance so ebuyer is out for me :(

What do people think of instead of me getting a single 500gb hdd i went for 2x 150gb raptor drives? would there be much of a performance increase?

Rapor is fast, but expensive. If you really want it, I would suggest get a 36GB Rapor for OS, Program, etc. And another 500GB for normal storage of data
 
I would strongly suggest you get the Q6600, it's the same price, and is more future proof.

I would also suggest this ram, but I couldn't find it on Dabs.com, and it's only slightly faster (and you would have to buy two of them).
 
the g.skill ram is not something i have seen on the major e-retailers in the uk. The ram i got picked out looks good though :) im sold on the Q6600, same price and ready for the fuure, thnx for looking out :D
