I want to replace my current AGP 8x VGA video card with an AGP 4x/8x DVI/HDMI video card to drive my new Asus VE248Q monitor that has DVI/HDMI inputs.
Is there anything special I have to do when removing my present card before I install the new card?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

uuuh just make sure u touch something metal before you go diving into the case, to make sure you aren't statically charged

why are you still using agp lol

I wasn't thinking of physical damage but rather whether I need to be concerned with driver removal before I remove the card, etc.
I need AGP because I have an older MB with 3 PCI slots and 1 AGP 8X slot.

yeh uninstall the driver before you remove it to make sure you dont get any conflicts with the new gfx card. if ur mobo still has agp maybe its time for an upgrade my man
