hey i was wondering if i should update. i ran the upgrade advisor and everything worked out, but there were a few problems..first it said my video card should be updated, then my NVIDIA® nForce(TM) Audio Codec Interface wasnt up to date or something, and it couldnt find information on my NETGEAR FA311 Fast Ethernet Adapter and NVIDIA® nForce(TM) Audio. would these cause problems with vista? if so how would i fix that? thanks in advance

well about ur videocard, if it says ther would be a problem then dont htink of changing and still use that same videocard.

NVIDIA® nForce is intergrated onto the mobo right?

i think it is so you dont have a vid card....i would get a vid card if your gonna upgrade to vista.

on some new pcs vista runs fine on intergrated graphics because they are better but on older systems with intergrated graphics i dont think it would go down too well...maybe aero effect would not work.

personaly i wouldint. You need at least mmore then a GB of ram if you want to do much gaming, a good processor and not that much changed. I mean the start menu changed and you get to play halo 2 but that is about all the benifets. I changed over and it is not that much different.
