Upgrade?

Hi all! I have a Emachines e525 (kawf0) laptop, and it seems to get increasingly slower. It currently only has 1GB of RAM, and i was wondering if a £40 investment of two matching pairs of RAM (2x2GB) would be worth it?
I only use the laptop for college work, e.g Word and powerpoint, but also surfing the web.
It currently has windows vista home basic installed.

Yes installing 2 x 2gb memory modules will definately help. Installing windows 7 would help even more.
