Upgradeable graphics card for HP Pavilion G61-300CA

Hello, I am thinking about buying an Hp pavilion G61-300CA. Overall, it is a great laptop, 4gb of ram, dual core 2.1ghz proocessor, big hard drive, etc. But, the video card is only a 128mb card. When looking at the specs, it says video memory upgradeable to 2gb, I was wondering, can anyone reccomend a card for this computer? Or is it an upgrade to card already inside?

Are you sure your information is correct?

In my experience I've never seen "upgradable video memory." Plus, 128mb is just about average for this kind of laptop. You don't need any more than that, unless you want to do gaming. If that's true, then you shouldn't even think about buying this laptop.

Another thing, laptops are basically a lot of big components fit into a compact motherboard. The graphics chip (not card, mind you) is probably located close to the cpu and cannot be changed or replaced in most instances.

The only thing I've heard about upgradable video cards is MXM that is usually used by Nvidia. ATi has it's own, but is not commonly used.

Okay, Im sorry, it says "Expandable" Not "Upgradeable". These are the specs for the graphics card.

Graphics
Discrete Video Memory No
Expandable Video Memory Up to 1918MB
Graphics Chipset ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200
Integrated Video Memory No
Native Screen Resolution 1366 x 768
Upgradable Video System No
Video Memory 128MB

Ok, so Ive realized my mistake, expandable means it will "Steal" Memory form my systems 4gb of ram. But, If I expanded the memory to 1gb, leaving my ram at 3gb, what kind of games will I be able to run? (I am on a tight budget and this laptop has the biggest bang for my buck so far)
