What are some nice upgrades I can purchase, with out it being outdated for awhile?

Just tell me what, and ill check the pricing and stuff.

I want it to be good at gaming new games, want it to be overall nice.
 
Maybe add another gig of memory, that's the only obvious thing to me. You may want upgrade to an SLI board and purchase an nVidia 8'series card. That will keep you at the leading edge with room to upgrade.
 
OC your c2d, buy an aftermarket HSF. Otherwise that mobo you have is going to waste, its a great board for OCing.
 
I agree with 20thCentryBoy, there's not much that stands out to upgrade...another GB of ram would help, but other than that, you can't do too much more without spending a few hundred on something like a new GPU.
 
Froboy's got it pretty much down. Overclocking will help, another Gig of ram will be a big performance increase if you are using Vista especially, and having an 8xxx series with DX10 would be nice as well. As far as the graphics card, I would hold out until more DX10 cards are out before I'd make a purchase.
 
I have alot of money saved up and I want to make small under $100 purchases until summer, then Ill get more money saved up then buy a nice card and put my current card into my other computer.

Small under $100 purchases...hmm. I would say another GB of RAM, then possibly some cooling if you are into overclocking. A new PSU would also be nice in preparation for your new graphics card.
