Upgrading, are these parts compatible?

Because I will use my computer extensively for video editing and video recording I need an upgrade. I have a few ideas, but I am not sure if they will be compatible.

I currently have a powerful graphics card and do not need new HDDs except for a new sold state drive as my current one is somewhat small. Can I just copy the files from my old SSD to a new SSD and have windows work as it should?

So the upgrades I have in mind is this:
-Intel Core i7-960 CPU
-Asus P6X58D-E Motherboard
-12G Kit(4Gx3)1600 Kingston HyperX DDR3 RAM

I currently have a Antec EarthWatts 650W PSU 650 Watt ATX Dual 12v 80PLUS power supply. Do I need to upgrade that?

Also, I have some Antec case. Will the new motherboard fit in that? I currently have a Gigabyte EP45-UD3L ATX s775 Intel EP45 ,DDRII, UD3 motherboard.

I would get a 2500k and gigabyte 1155 board if I were you. They are 30% more efficient than the first generation i7's.

for video editing the i7 will be faster wolfe

the i7-2600k might be better, idk though for video stuff, the 960 hsa the 2cores/4threads over the 2600k, but the 2600k is a good bit faster and i believe will oc higher, but you might want to wait for bulldozer (the next amd cpu in sept) since it has 8 cores instead of 4 threaded as 8, so in theory it should code faster, but we won't know untill it's out

and also when you replace the mobo, if you have the os installed with an oem disc, you will have to get another as it is liscenced to the motherboard and cannot be transfered.

I don't have the option to go for a better cpu. The next up is the i7-990X which costs too much for me.

So, these parts are compatible, right?
Do I need a new power supply?
Do I need a new case?

the i7 2600k will be faster for what he wants wolfe, he plans to do video editing and de/encoding, so the added threads will give better performance, the 960 may be faster than the 2500k in doing this, idk bout that, but we know the 2600k will beat either of those 2.

one of the other guys here will be able to tell you, but i think pccasegear was one of the best auzie site, but might not even be an auzie site, haven't gone there in a while.

as long as the case can fit a full atx mobo then the case is fine, and if the current psu powers everything fine it should be fine, the gpu is the main factor for that and if it isn't changing then it SHOULD be fine, i'm not too familiar with that info, but i think it'll be fine.
