Upgrading Computer

I have a Acer Aspire M1100 Desktop computer.

I am wanting to upgrade to more Ram and a Video card.

Have 2G of Ram on the computer and want a nother 2G=4G Total.

Not sure what ram to purcahse to make sure it is compatable.

Also not sure what Videocard to purchase.
Only game will be playing as of now is COD4 and the next COD game coming out.

Videocard:$150.00 or lower.
Ram:$50.00 or lower.

Wow you live REALLY close to me, jeez 30 miles away... kinda strange :D
anyway get OCZ trust me they are really freaking good, and as for the GPU get an older model geforce card such as gefore series 8 or something, if thats too expensive go to geforce series 7 maybe.
Also go with EVGA its brand name + pretty cheap and great quality.
May I recommend this?

Yea, you could go with some nice matched OCZ ram, if you want to stay a bit on the cheaper side (but still get awesome ram) checkout this G.Skill. I realize the ram is a bit more than you expected, but it's worth it to have matched ram.

But yea, as for the GPU do what Beatem445 said. Stick with a decent 8800 GTS which you can find for around $90 on ebay.

Bullzi I think you mis-read his post, he only need 2 more gigs of RAM, thats why I suggested OCZ but you are right G-Skill is good too, As for the graphics card I appreciate the agreement with me :D(kinda makes me feel all warm inside :cool:) as for going on ebay, why take a chance when you can get same price on newegg, and not possibly be scammed?

Yea, I saw that he already has 2GB. But if he has the money it's better to get matched ram if possible. It usually doesn't matter, just one of my pep peeves. :)

Yea, a good 8800 will run COD fine, thats what I started playing it on. As for ebay, as long as he gets a seller with good feedback, he'll be fine. It's the guys that have 0-5 feedback that you must be weary about. Anybody with 10+ and 100% is trustworthy as long as they've recently been active. He'll save a good amount of money that route..
