i was thinking about the GTX 780 from EVGA, should i get something better to? because I'm afraid the 780 will get outdated quick

Built my computer from suggestion on here, always grateful from all the help here!

The only game you might not be able to run ultra on is bf4, the other 2 should be having no issues with. Did it just start having issues or have they been there all along?

ROme total war they've been there, and Arma 3 has started after a couple of patches.

is there something wrong with it?

Reinstall Windows :) Or if not, try completely uninstalling your GPU driver and download the newest from NVIDIA.
Then try the web updater of DirectX

Guru3D GPU Driver Uninstaller (removes everything)
NVIDIA GPU Driver 344.48 (latest)
Microsoft DirectX Web Installer
CCleaner

If you wanna do it like I do:
Shut down as much software you can. Skype, Dropbox, AntiVirus etc.
Uninstall GPU driver
Reboot in to Safe Mode (spam F8 at boot)
Use something like CCleaner or Glary's to clean your PC
Reboot to normal mode
Install new GPU driver
Reboot
Run DirectX web updater

the 780 is still a very good card and should be able to play bf4 on ultra 1080p, it should also do 1440p but i would expect it to drop below 60fps on occasion. I had a gtx 770 and that played bf4 ultra 1080p at 60fps so a gtx 780 should work fine. Maybe think about a gtx 970 which is a more powerfull, more efficient with a similar price tag and will certainly do bf4, arma 3 etc ultra at 60fps.
