Upgrading graphics questions

As of now I'm running one 8800 GTS (G92) and looking to upgrade. Would I be better off to buy another 8800 GTS and Sli them or buy a newer single card? As for a budget I'd like to stay under $250 US . I just upgraded my monitor to a Samsung T240 24" LCD and other component's are in my sig. Thanks
 
Thanks , I have narrowed it down to either a 9800GTX orthe GTX260 . The 260 is not that much more than the 9800gtx.I just need to make sure my 750watt psu will handle either of them now.
