I am considering upgrading my HTPC to handle gaming. I am looking to play racing games such as iRacing, R-Factor, and Live for Speed. I have been playing GT5, but my roommate is leaving and taking his PS3. I have a Logitech G27 wheel, and do not want it to go to waist.
The current specifications for the computer are in my signature as the HTPC/Practice Build. The limitations I face with this is the low profile case which uses a TFX form factor power supply. I am currently considering buying a HD7750 graphics card and a SeaSonic 350W TFX power supply. I have gotten away with using the 300W In-Win power supply that came with the case for over two years, but do not feel comfortable adding load to it. Most negative reviews of this case on Newegg deal with the PSU.

The HTPC is connected to a TV that supports 1920x1080 resolution natively, so I am hoping the card can handle this resolution with decent frame rates. I am not sure how demanding the graphics for these games are. I am open to suggestions on different GPUs, and have no brand loyalty. I am also concerned about the current processor as it is a 2.8 GHz dual core. Will I need to upgrade this as well in order to make full use of the HD-7750 GPU? I can not change the motherboard without purchasing a new OS, as the copy of XP is a builders license.
Thanks for any input,
Andrew
