Upgrading integrated Video Card...

I recently purchased a Gateway LX-6200 2.2Ghz Phenom X4 9500, 8GB DDR2 Memory, Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit) and ATI Integrated graphics card. I was thinking of upgrading my video card due to less than stellar FPS when playing World of Warcraft. Was just wondering if it is possible to do so and what would be a good option for me to purchase?

Integrated graphics are the cheap alternative to regular graphics cards that tend to appeal more to servers and people that dont do extensive graphics stuff. I think you could have cut the amount of memory in half down to 4gb and still been good. As long as your computer has an open PCI, PCI-E or AGP slot then you can add in a graphics card. Between all those options PCI-E 2.0 x16 is best if your motherboard has it.

Providing you have a spare PCI-E 2.0 slot. You should get the ATI HD 4850 or 4870. The 4850 is about £100.

Youl probably have to get a new PSU too. Probably about 600W should do.
