I currently have a laptop for my schoolwork that is very slow and can't run 2 things at a time.
I had the idea to upgrade this laptop by doubling the RAM capacity (from 2 to 4GB, since 4GB is the laptop's maximum) and get a 250GB Samsung 850 EVO instead of it's 5400RPM HDD.
Should I do this? Or is it better to just buy a new laptop if possible?
Full laptop's specs:
Screen: 11,6" 1366x768 (WXGA Wide)
DPI: 135dpi
Videochip: Radeon HD7290
CPU: AMD C-70 Dual Core @ 1.0GHz (I do not know if it's soldered to the motherboard)
Motherboard: AMD ZA10_BZ (A68M chipset)
RAM: 2GB DDR3 SODIMM
Storage: 320GB (282GB) 5400RPM HDD
I updated it's OS from Windows 8 to Windows 10 last week, which slightly increased it's performance.
