Upgrading Motherboard

So i'm doing some minor upgrades on my computer. i got a quad a few months back but my computer is still a little laggy sometimes. i'll be using some new ram i had gotten. anyway my question surrounds the motherboard. i currently have this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128012. It is also stated in my signature. So I was thinking about getting this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128337R. Since the ram i am going to be using will fit in there, it is 4GB of patriot viper. So does anyone know if this should give my computer better performance? for one i'll have the 4GB of ram running at 1333 as oppose to the 2GB at 1066. As well as the newer chipset, P35.

When are you getting laggy performance? During regular apps or games? If it's games, I'd blame your GPU, not your mobo. Some mobos slow down if you use all four RAM slots, too (and 512mb sticks aren't the greatest).

I'm not an Intel man, so I can't really comment for sure on the mobo or chipsets, etc...

its like after is on for a little while it takes extra time to do things like starting a program or something. and the initial startup sometimes, and i don't have that much stuff on my start up. things i kno that should take as long as they do. and i haven't gotten that much more performance from upgrading to a quad for a duo.
