Right now i have a pretty horrible comp so i am thinking of upgrading it for xmas, but i have very little clue as to the compatability of motherboards with my system. I have an emachines t2792

I was told to find out what kind of socket the comp had and i found it to be 478.
Would these fit with my system or do you have any suggestions on a different mobo/memory/graphics card?

You cant put a new motherboad into that case, since there specially designed only for eMachines motherboards.

Im not sure if you can take out the CPU from your eMachines and put it in a new motherboard or not, i would highly recommend buying a new computer all together.

That memory will not work in your current eMachines or in the new motherboard, you should buy 1-2GB of PC3200.

As for the video card, you would be much better off getting a 6600GT 128MB card for about $115-$140.
