with the windows XP upgrade, as with any windows install, will install the drivers you need during its install process

You will need the purchase/obtain the operating sytem you would like to upgrade to. Winxp is a good bet. You need to make sure your computer meets the minimum spec sofr winxp

If you have atleast that listed on the website, you can upgrade. If not i would recommend getting something a little newer.

From here it is easy, pop in the winxp disc which you obtained (with win 98 computer turned on) The cd should autorun and display a menu. Click check compatibility. If somthing on that list is not compatible, you may need to replace it. From there you can choose to upgrade to winxp. Good luck!

You can install directly by clean installation or upgrade it.

but some hardware is not supported by windows xp, but you can find all the drivers of your devices in their official website otherwise, you can visit download.com for getting the drivers.
