Upgrading power supply. Help needed.

Hello,

I bought a stock Gateway GT5670.
I upgraded the video card to a Nvidia 8400 (until i can afford better).

The problem is the GT5670 has a 300w power supply and there aren't measurements anywhere online (that i can find) so I don't know that when I get off work today and purchase the OCZ 500w StealthXstream power supply that it will fit. I'm at work all day and no one is home to measure it.

If anyone can help me figure out if it will fit, I'd apreciate it. Gateway keeps telling me that "all power supplies are universal", and I keep telling them no... no they aren't.

Thanks.

they are right to an extent. There are form factors. Normally its ATX, but pre built computers are sometimes BTX. Ask them what form factor it is and then you can buy a PSU based on that.
