Upgrading processor

By the end of the summer I want to upgrade the processor in my system. I don't really want to upgrade the mobo and everything so I'm going to have to go with one of the new AM2+ socket processors... I want to go quad-core so which do you guys recommend...

I'd like to spend around 150 or less. Do you know if the prices are going to drop on these processors any time in the next 4-5 months? I haven't been keeping up with everything recently.

Thanks

The end of summer is a long time for processors. There might not be to many 65nm. Phenoms left by then. Heard most of them are being discontinued in a few months

thanks... i think i'm going to try to overclock my current processor to see what i can get it to. but i figure before they do stop making them i want to get a more up to date processor while i can

Do you think there will be updates that makes the mobo compatible with the Phenom II series or is it a bigger issue than that? If its not going to be compatible then the nicest processor I can put on this mobo would be one of these two:

Right?

Also it needs to be 64-bit compatible and my power supply (seen below) won't have a problem with the higher wattage processor right?

Thanks

Either will work. The 9850 with bios 1502, and the 9950 with bios 1604. I dont think they will update to many AM2 boards for a Phenom II. They do most of the AM2+ boards. But the AM2 is getting kinda old, so they would rather sell you a new board.
