Well it appears to be that my RAM is shot as well for those who also know that my motherboard died on me.
I guess a year with a computer just doesnt work well for me =P
I've decided to upgrade my RAM to faster 1066mhz sticks and i was wondering out of the choices below which ones you guys would take

Corsair 4GB XMS2-8500D Dominator TWIN2X Dual Channel DDR2 Kit (2 x 2GB) w/ Airflow Fan

CRUCIAL Ballistix Tracer 2GB PC2-8500 Dual Channel DDR2 kit w/ LED (2 x 1GB)

Mushkin XP2-9200 Xtreme Performance DDR2 SDRAM, 2GB Dual Pack

Mushkin XP2-8500 Xtreme Performance DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-15), 4GB Dual Pack

Patriot Extreme Performance Viper Series DDR2 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC2-8500 Enhanced Latency Dual Channel Kit, SLI-Ready

I was looking at the Mushkin xp2-9200 pack there and getting two packs for 4gb of ram but im not sure anymore seeing as how there are so many good choices...

the Patriot would be my choice.

if you are in the states, use this website instead of the one you linked to: www.newegg.com

an example of the difference between that website and newegg is the price difference between the mushkin memory on the websites. the memory cost's $125 on your website, and costs $104 on newegg WITH free shipping AND a $20 rebate to make it $80.

I would use newegg
but since im in canada
and the canadian sites' prices are about the same
i might as well go local

Alright, for overal performance
ive narrowed it down to two:
the Corsair sticks or the Patriot sticks
which of the two would be better?

I really like Corsair. But if you go to newegg.com, you can select canada. They have canadian site now open!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!! and i don't even live in canada...

Well I've been looking at the new Canadian newegg site and the prices are actually more expensive then my local store. And I also save on shipping so I guess it's win win for me. =)
I was also looking at the Corsair. I am looking for low voltage RAM with good timings/speed as well though, because I believe the 680i has a tendency to kill or die under high voltage RAM and I don't want to run into another problem like that again.

BUMP
so im going to get the ram tomorrow
and now im wondering
should i get the dominator corsair or the patriot?
