Upgrading to dual core

I have the comp in the sig. I am looking to upgrade from my 3800 single core to a dual core. On new egg there are so many different models (3800, 4200, 4600, 4800, and probably some in between). I am looking for a decent performer. Most people opt for the cheaper one and overclock. But I plan to stay with stock settings. SO my question is, does it really make a different to spend a few more dollars to get one with .2 more ghz's.


Also with the new 65nm chips, are these better than the 90nm chips, this will add in my decision. thanks.

I'd go with the best that your budget will allow.
