Upgrading WiFi In Toshiba Laptop

Hi there, I have just received the combo Intel 6230 WiFi mini PCI card.
Upon installation the WiFi kicked in right away when I powered up while connected to internet via wired and proper driver downloaded.
However, the Bluetooth function is giving me a hard time. I have downloaded and installed the Intel Bluetooth driver and stack with no luck. I beleive the system is not recognizing this combo package whether it is actually defective or not. Have also tried the Toshiba stack as well as Blue Soleid stack.

Laptop Manufacturer: Toshiba
Product Line: Satellite
Model Number: C650
Processor: AMD P320
Existing Wifi Card: Atheros WN6601AH (No Bluetooth)
New Wifi Card: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230

The symptom, on the computer under Windows 7 Pro SP1,
is that an unknown USB device appears and disappears in the device manager.
A pop-up message reads: ”One of the USB devices attached to this computer
has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.”

I think it might be a compatibility issue or maybe the 6230 is actually defective.
Any suggestions or work arounds would be apprieciated.
Thanks,

Update: Problem ended up been an Intel device in an AMD chipset PC. Not compatable. I have ordered a Broadcom Combo device which (hopefully) will not be chipset dependent.
Good news is I got full refund from seller..
Also, the Broadcom device although used was only $14.
