Uploading from site

Is it possible for a website to maybe force or just upload something to a visiting computer without the computer knowing????

Maybe by running ActiveX?

Happens all the time, spyware and adware are ways. But if you upload things to someones PC without them knowing, then that could involve a lawsuit of some kind of the data your downloading to the visiting computer is malicious.

No, im not trying to do it. Its just that I visited a site and it just kept on loading and loading it didn't have any videos that I saw but just games. Forgot the site.
