UPS vs. FedEx

My wife worked for a wholesaler that has shipped with every major courier.
She says that FedEx is better and safer. UPS will leave packages at the door if noone is there to sign for it. FedEx requires a signature. FedEx also has better tracking systems. The only problem is that you have to pay FedEx to come and pick it up. They are more expensive, but they are more reliable.
She says that Purolator is her favorite. I'm not sure if you have them down there or not.

acutally thats the opposite for me. UPS actually needs my sig than fed ex. since i live in an apt and they usually deliver durin my school hr, i like them to leave the package. so fed ex actually leaves the packages. but yea i like FED EX better.

I HATE UPS. My last three orders have never made it in the shipping time i paid for. They always come at 7:00PM for me, or they don't come at all. I absolutly hate ups. Fedex is better.

Like what? Everything I ship through them (which is quite a lot for a non-business) arrives exactly on time, and in perfect condition. And I can ship for free right from my house. They also give you free supplies....

The area I live in its not an issue for them to leave packages. I generally have better service with UPS. It always seems that it takes forever to get there via FedEx but I dont ever ship either way, usually use USPS to ship things from me..
My error... I quoted the wrong guy. haha
