URGENT: Help! Display problem.

Hello,

When starting up my PC its come up with Windows XP and the scrolling bar and before it gets to the login screen/windows is starting up my screen goes black and my monitor goes into standby and I cannot see anything. I have reset to last known good configuration and the only way for me to access my PC is to start in VGA mode.

Please help!!

What kind of monitor you have?Maybe you have set refresh rate and/or screen resolution higher than your monitor can support...
