URGENT Help Needed!

Today was my birthday and for one of my gifts I got a Vantec Internal memory card reader that goes into my drive bay and connects to one of my USB 2.0 headers. I finally got the balls to open my computer, remove one of the graphics cards to get me access to the USB headers, undo a PSU wire, and install it myself. I feel so courageous now it isn't even funny!

However, when I turned the PC back on, I got a BOOTMGR MISSING message. I powered down the Beast and unplugged the card reader and Windows booted just fine. I plugged the reader back in and again, BOOTMGR MISSING. I unplugged it and booted Windows and here I am now asking for help.

I followed everything in the instruction manual that came with the reader so I do not know what is causing this. I had the pins on the header lined up correctly too.

I really want to get to use my new card reader!

Plug the card reader back in and go into the bios and make sure HDD is set for first boot device. Sometimes when you plug in new hardware it will change the boot order setting.

Yeah you need to change the boot order in the BIOS. The HDD that Windows is installed on needs to be first priority.

Get rid of all the other entries too so that your board will ONLY boot from the Windows HDD.

I don't know how to get to the bios on my system. I found this in Speccy though:

Bios:
Brand American Megatrends Inc.
Version V18.0
Date 12/31/2010
