There is no need to post about a previous post (double post). Someone, if they understand what you are talking about, will assist you in time. If it gets lost in the section after awhile you can bump, by just making a reply in the thread with a simple "bump". That will move it to the top again. Don't go crazy doing that either.

also, when you want to ask a question, make a new post, writing on someone else's post is called "post hijacking" and people don't usually like it too much, and besides, it'll get more attention if you make your own new post anyways

Sorry wasnt my intention to hi jack a post ,my problem was the same so thought it best to keep it on a thread with same subject .I am only a middle aged woman who has no knowledge of computers and saw that 14 people had saw my other post and hadnt replied to a knew member even just to say sorry hope you can find help soon...thats why I mentioned it here ...sorry I took up a thread doing so.

it's cool, everybody needs time to get used to the forum and how it works, typically people don't ever say "I don't know" and post that, if someone knows the answer then they'll say something. Probably almost half my posts don't get answered, it all depends on what you're asking. The easier questions other people know the answers to, the difficult ones few if anybody does. Making this post is the best idea, and whenever someone writes something it gets put back up to the top, but if you want to paste what you wrote in the other post here, that would be a good idea too.
