Hey all, I deleted a windows file by accident and now my computer wont even reboot, I reinstalled windows xp and now it asks for administrative password, I never put one on the computer, is there a preset password? If so what is it, any help would be appreciated.
sounds like you did a repair install of windows, if you can't get around the password you could try a fresh install format the hard drive and everything, i don't think user profiles and programs are removed when doing a repair install
