Hi everyone

Im having major issues with my interent. All 5 computers are not accessing the internet. I have managed to finally get just online after 2hrs of resetting the wireless box and restarting the computer. Every page is taking about 1 minute to load. 3 minutes to fully load. All the lights on the wireless box are ok. But my wireless connection network shows my signal jumping from 2Mbps to 56Mbps....it is usually always on 56Mbps and full strength (note this is the wireless network speed not the internet speed).

When 2 computers are running limewire files can be shared and the printer is working so i dont think its the wireless box. But its still seems a little glitchy.

This also happened last night for some unknown reason.

Would anyone know what may be going on?
Might it just be the server?
Any suggestions welcome.
 
If you have limewire running all the time, that could be hogging all of the bandwidth, try closing it.
 
i hardly use limewire....i just turned it on to see if the wireless was working
some internet pages load but others just go to the weird screen thats tells u its not working cos of connection probs
 
It's a DSL connection.
Also we are meant to have 4Mbps internet speed but we only seem to recieve 2.3Mbps anyway (we were told we have 4Mbps in our area and they tested the number or wateva it is).

But now the internet is working fine and super fast. It has me puzzled. But mysis just did restart her computer but that shouldnt make a diff can it? She wasnt running anything on it.
 
try to access it right next to the router and see if it is better. it may the the distance and interference
 
i am next to it.......it has to be the server or else my router is on its way. I feel like hitting it with a hammer. I will get my mum to call up T-Punkt cause i cant speak German....oh well it back on but for howlong i dont know.....cheers.
