Alright.
I have CSS on my computer. And its connected to a switch. Also connected to the switch is the cable going to the other connected computer. And there is a wire going to the router that is giving internet.


In CSS, I am making a LAN game by going to Create Server. And its not being recognized on the other computer. I tried Source Dedicated Server. Same problem.


I need this to be fixed.
I have a LAN to host in 10 hours.

Also, the other computer connected has Source host files for hosting CSS games...That wouldn't make a difference would it?

I hosted an SCRDS thing on the other computer, *server*, and it worked. But now I am trying to host custom maps and its not working.

The console says its up. But its not in the LAN section.

Disable both firewalls?

just to make sure. i would get a cross over cable and test it out. form one comp to the other
