Hiya. I need replies in less than 20 minutes if possible please people :D

I'm thinking of mixing RAM together on the ASUS A7N8X-X. They're both 256MB DDR PC3200 but different makes...

Will these work together ok:

1st RAM Stick:

256 MB Kingston Value Ram DDR PC3200 400 MHz
Kingston Part Number: KVR400X64C3A/256

2nd RAM Stick:

256MB DDR 400 PC 3200 CL 3 Memory

What is "CL 3" meant to mean? Will these two work together?

Thanks !!

Ok, so much for the 20 minutes :p...

But anyway, what do you think to the mixing of RAM. For e.g. 256 MB Knigston Value RAM with 256MB Crucial RAM. Both would have to be PC2700 as I wouldn't buy a PC3200 and a PC2700 because the PC3200 would degrade down to PC2700, is that right?

Thanks...

Yeah it'll run as fast as your slowest RAM. Won't hurt to try mixing it thought. I see no problems with it. It shouldn't fry anything to give it a shot. The worst is that it won't read one of em or it'll beep at you and won't work. They look similar enough though.

Hmmmm, perhaps I'll get both the same then..... I don't like the idea of my new Gaming Pc that I'm going to be building "beeeeeeeepingggg" at me, or that possibly one wont work..... Cheers!
