Urgent!!! Need Last Minute Confirmation

I haven't exactly looked up on newegg, so i can't say much about the combo, but the overclocked 7900gt isn't exactly that much faster than the regular cheapest 7900gt, just a little faster, which really won't do much...def not worth the extra money.

oh

well i kinda need to order it all at one place because i dont want to put my mom through much. i am already strectching my budget

also i am not much of an overclocker

and the MOBO it self says best with CORSAIR

lol it's not like it puts your mother through anymore stress, it's a less amount so you'll be streching you budget less and that is a massive budget. I was getting my first computer for college and my budget was $1000 and I thought that was decent.

well she is pretty much only paying 1000

my dad is giving a 100 and i have 200 and ill just work off the rest

and what kind of FPS will i get with

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130032

i will prob be doing some BF2 and FEAR and just other games that i come across

i dont even know if i will game on this but i will want to do those i stated and others

my mom already says i spend too much time on the computer

Well I expect the performance to be just as good as the other 7900 gt cards and the only time you might notice a difference is if the cards are stressed to the abosolute limits and then the clock speeds will matter. But I dunno can't you try and tweak the speed of the gpu yourself?

Also do you plan on running SLi anytime soon?? otherwise you can get the asus board that offers the 570 ultra chip which is the same as the 570 sli except it doesn't offers sli option and the motherboard is $50 cheaper

Yep the regular 7900 GT not tweaked at all runs F.E.A.R at 1024x768x32 4xAA 16xAF at 65 fps. So I think the XFX will perform just fine.

i might go SLI in the future for upgradabilty but i need something that will be be good for photoshop and some gaming if my mom lets me

Personally I think SLI is a big waste of money, but suite yourself :P But seriously, you will barely notice the difference between the OCed 7900gt and the normal 7900gt. Also, Corsair probably paid your motherboard manufacturer to put that the motherboard works best with Corsair ram or something. Your monitor is great, almost too great for my taste :D

edit: how much money do you have left for a soundcard?
