urgent pc help

hi guys i need help. its with my internet. somethings wrong. i cannot get on the net thru firefox or IE. however, AOL, AIM, MSN, and YIM can all get thru so i have net access. this happens about every 3 days and i have to reboot. this time its not going away, i rebooted like 50 times, and i let it sit for 20 mins still no luck. i did a virus scan and mcafee found 2 trojans but couldnt delete or quarrantine them. plz help cuz this is strange and i am clueless. thanks in advance
 
Well... if you have 2 trojans inside your system, that's probably why things might be slowing down or not working. I suggest you try everything to remove them, even if that's not why your internet isn't working.
 
Spyware will do that sort of thing too so run the usual spyware software. I have good luch with Spybot and Adaware.
 
i did all that before when it was working. i ran ccleaner, spybot SD, spysubtract, mcafee, all this morning when it was working fine.
