Urgent wireless network help

k I have a wireless network connection atheros ar5005gs and when I get home ever connection is secure so I can't get on.is there any type of way I can make my own connection and access the internet at my home.i just bought this laptop from someone and I'm not sure what my wireless network is(well I have a strong feeling its this one that says on demand) but I don't know the network key how can I reset it?

First of all, you need to have a high speed internet connection at your house to beging with. Do you have a wireless access point in your house? If not then you are attempting to connect to a network that isn't yours. As this is prohibited by law you won't see any discussion about that type of thing here. In general we need to know what kind of hardware you have in your house that you may be trying to connect to.
