US Agents and customs

hmm...better hide the laptop real good in your luggage :)

or if your lucky like I was, they won't even search through your luggage.

Well after 9/11 the "fear" of the morons allowed them this kind of power. Good going US!!!!!
Its going to get worse. One day Mexicans will be saying "damn boarder hoppers" because we will flee to there or Canada.
I can't wait for that day I will say "how does it feel now!!!!!" ^-^

When I went through security (anyone seen the weapons cabinet there?) at Birmingham to get to Toronto I had to take my laptop out of my bag and out of it's protectve cover and put it in it's own tray, they won't switch it on though touch wood.

Really. I better just leave the protective cover out of my macbook then on the airplane landing i'll put it on
 
I've brought electronics and laptops all over the USA, to Mexico, Bahama's, etc. and they just make you put the laptop and other electronics in a separate tray, they don't physically examine it or power it on or anything.
