Hello, All!

Please tell me what is the difference b/w Flash drive and External Hard Drive. I already know that USB's size is equal to a finger but External Hard Drive is like a Computer Hard Disk with two cables as well.

But why Microsoft says to backup data in External Hard instead of USB? If we see storage then USB has also biggest storage like 16GB the latest one.

So why we cannot store backup in USB instead of External Hard?

Is there any vitus problem, like Virus comes quickly in USB and USB to PC but it doesn't happens in External Hard? What do you think?

Hope for the answer.

Regards,

External hard drives are larger in size and capacity. USB 2.0 is also slower than eSATA by a lrge margin, which is why people tend to use external hard drives rather than flash drives.

Its mean, there is no difference between USB and External Hard except size and capacity? Am I right?

Both are same and can be used for same purpose? Am I right?

But why Computer Scientists needed External Hard Drive? For USB, we can say it's used for data traveler and can be easily come in our pocket. Am I right?

Can Virus easily come from External Hard to PC and PC to External Hard Drive as it come from USB to PC and PC to USB?

Is there any separate protection in External Hard from Virus?

No, there is no any problem to save your daily back up in flash driver but user generally prefer external hard disk because hard disk have big space as comparative usb flash drive so user can easily save data in hard disk.
