I have another problem regarding my new P180B. sometimes when i insert a USB plug into the front USB port, the computer would suddenly restart. I'm guessing something is shorting out? Anyone else have any ideas?

I agree...probably a short somewhere. Just the case USB ports?

Yup, just the case USB. So i'm guessing the short is around the USB headers?

Could be around the headers, a cut in the wire, or even something around the ports themself.

hmmm ok so i'll check that out, brb.
edit: i can't see anything wrong with it. I've tried switching to a different USB header, no help. What else can I do??

bump..help! My firewire is doing this too. However, it doesn't always restart the computer, only once in a while.
