Usb Cd?

can I load up up an ISO on my thimb drive so it acts like a CD?

I'm pretty sure you can, I googled for some tutorials though and haven't been able to find one.

What kind of .iso/cd is it? I have seen bootable OS's .iso mounted on thumbdrives. Also programs that run off thumbdrives, but as far as using them directly as a music disc, video disc, etc.. haven't come across it yet.

no, i mean, loading an MDS file to it to be bootable for OS instalations, because i'd rather carry my thumb drive insted of a damagable CD

well it sould work if you format the thumb drive right and set it so the computer boots from the usb port.
