I have 22 usb devices, I have connected them with powered usb hubs. The hubs are installed correctly, and longest hub chain is 3 hubs long. When I am connecting more than 18 usb devices, the problem starts to occur. My MacBook pro has only 2 usb ports. But I have read that you can theorycally connect 127 usb devices to a single port when the hub counts etc are connected correctly. My usb wires are not too long or something (longest cable that I have is 2 meters long)
