usb device to turn on comp

hi guys, im wondering if it is possible to have something that is attached to my comp turn the comp on. wether it's usb keyboard/mouse/thumbdrive, or what ever.

im wanting it to do a cold boot. not from anykind of sleep/hybernation or suspend.

yea. i've got a button on my keyboard that says "Sleep" but i reprogrammed it to completely shut down instead. i know there are 56k modems that you can put in your computer, and call your computer up on the phone, and it will boot up your computer. havent seen 'em in about 5 years though :D
cant remember exactly, but theres sleep, hibernate, and stand-by modes for shutdown, and one of them cuts power to everything but the processor, i'm sure you can get a button programmed for one of those, and then just use button mashing to wake it up :D

thanks for the sp on the sig impulse, and im not wanting to boot from a totally cold boot. (no sleep or anything) but i will remember those. thanks.
