USB Flash Drive

Recently I was putting some files onto my USB, and it was full so I could not fit everything on it that I wanted to, anwyay, I removed it, but I was careless and did not remove it safely, and now when I put it back into the computer I do not see any files, I have tried a couple computers, and same thing has happened. It does even have the same name as it used to before.

I go to properties and it says it is at full capacity however I am unable to see these files, any suggestions on how I can access my files or what I should do?

I have a few important files on there that I would rather not lose, so I am not too favourable on just formatting the USB.

Thanks

Did you remove it while the files were still trying to be written to it? Or after it told you it was out of room? Most likely you damaged the files, which could mean they are still physically on the drive but unable to be seen by windows. Do a format of the drive to reuse it. Someone else may have a program to try and get files back but most likely its going to be nixed.

ummmm, I believe it had finished writing, but I am not sure if I had closed the actual window properly.

So yeah it looks like I might be losing everything I guess, so there are no programs or something I can get easily which are able to recover files in such instances?
